We are excited to have you here!
USD 327, Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo, is located near the heart of Kansas and encompasses approximately 425 square miles across two counties. Our district proudly serves the communities of Ellsworth, Kanopolis, and Geneseo, and is ideally situated between two recreational lakes with easy access to major highways.

Our three attendance centers serve approximately 649 students:

  • Ellsworth Elementary School – Kindergarten through Grade 3
  • Kanopolis Middle School – Grades 4 through 6
  • Ellsworth Junior/Senior High School – Grades 7 through 12

At USD 327, we are committed to our motto: "Better Together, Striving for Excellence." Guided by our six strategic themes—

  1. Educate for Excellence
  2. Support Exploration & Engagement Opportunities
  3. Communicate to Build Trust
  4. Connect with Family and Community
  5. Invest in Faculty & Staff
  6. Align Resources with Facilities and Infrastructure

—we are focused on preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.

Over the past three years, we have expanded our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs from 8 to 13 career pathways, offering students more real-world learning experiences and preparing them for college, careers, and beyond. This growth reflects our commitment to supporting exploration, engaging our community partners, and aligning opportunities with workforce needs.

Our vision for the district centers on listening, learning, and engaging. Through listening sessions with students, staff, parents, business leaders, and community members, we’ve developed a strategic plan that is both grounded in local values and bold in its aspirations. Together, we are shaping a purposeful future that reflects the strengths of our district and our shared commitment to excellence.

We invite you to join us on this journey.
Let’s Grow—Together.
