Congratulations to the varsity Scholars Bowl team for placing first at the Bennington tournament tonight! Members are Aidan Johnson, Cadence Halfhill, Andrew Hipp, Reygan Coonrod, Dalton Weder, and Emma Withers. Freshman/Sophomore team of Lakyn Beckman, Sage Gray, Brielle Robson, Jane Magie, Hannah Vague, and Jacob Hlaus finished third in pool play.

The Student Council at Ellsworth Jr Sr High School will be hosting a Staff and Student Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 7:30pm-9pm in the EJSHS Gym. Student teams will compete for the title of champion in this event that serves as a fundraiser for the Ellsworth County Christmas Store and the Ellsworth County Food Bank. Gate fee will be $2 per person. Snacks and drinks will also be available at a concession stand. In addition to the tournament, patrons are encouraged to bring in a donation of a jar of peanut butter. All who donate will be entered into a drawing for a free Take & Bake Meal provided by the FCCLA group.

We were thrilled to welcome over 200 grandparents to Grandparents Day at EES on Oct. 24 and 25th! The overwhelming response filled us with joy, as it shows just how many grandparents are actively involved and connected with their grandkids. A huge thank you to all the EES staff and OPAA for their incredible support and assistance in ensuring the event ran smoothly.
