The first tennis meet of the season is in the books as the Lady Bearcats JV team competed at home and finished in 5th place and only 5 points behind 3rd place. The team comprised of a young group of freshman and sophomores.
Number 1 singles Makenna H.(so) placed 5th.
Number 1 doubles Shylo T.(so) and Cadence H(fr) placed 7th.
Number 2 singles Emma S.(so) medaled and placed 2nd.
Number 2 doubles Elena J. (fr) and Charlotte B.(fr) placed 5th.
Beloit placed first, followed by Philippsburg, and Salina South.
Next meet for Lady Bearcats tennis is home varsity next Tuesday 8/31 at 1pm!
