Here we are on the eve of the 2020-21 school year kick-off and EES staff couldn’t be more excited. A few reminders to keep in mind as we get started:
Building hours are 7:40-3:15...students will not be allowed into the building until 7:40 a.m.
Drop-off and pick-up:
Please be patient while in the drop-off/pick-up line and do not have your child exit the vehicle until you are stopped in the drop-off area. Please do not park across the street from the drop-off/pick-up area and wave your child across the street...they will have to go to the crosswalk to cross the street.
Kdg, 1st, 2nd - south entrance
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th - north entrance
Bus riders (students getting off of the bus) - east entrance
Temperatures will be taken before entering the school (and again before lunch)
If eating breakfast at school, the students will go directly to the kitchen area to get their breakfast, then to the cafeteria to eat
5th-6th graders - will go to the gym to wait for busses to KMS (if eating breakfast, they will eat when they get to KMS)
K-4 non-breakfast students will go to their classrooms
Masks - if your child has a mask, please have them wear it to school...if he/she doesn’t have one, we will have one for them, at the door, to put on before entering the building
Each student will receive 2 masks and 1 gator from their classroom teacher on Thursday or Friday. As we get started into the school year, there will be the possibility of your child getting a few more masks and gaters, as needed.
