EES Families,

It was amazing having all of the staff back in the building last week.  We spent a lot of time familiarizing ourselves with all of the Covid protocols we will be following at EES.  We also learned more tips and tricks for using SeeSaw in face-to-face learning, as well as in remote and virtual learning situations.  The staff was also busy getting classrooms set up and arranged, while always keeping our student’s (and staff) safety and health at the forefront of all of our decisions.

Many of the teachers contributed to this 4-minute video (including our new teachers)...take a look to get a sneak peak into classrooms: https://youtu.be/mlIqh068vYg .  We want you to know that we are all excited to be back and can’t wait to have all of the students back on September 3rd.  A lot of things will look different this year...but a lot will stay the same as well.  We are still here for the kids, having fun learning and interacting with each other!  More information will be coming out in the next few days about our Back-to-School drive-thru supply drop off (1st-4th grades) and scheduled kindergarten supply drop off and visit to the classroom.  This Wednesday, you will be able to see your child’s homeroom teacher in Infinite Campus...just a reminder that these are tentative lists and it is possible they may change.  Your child will also be getting a phone call from their teacher later this week.

A few important reminders:

*First day of school - September 3rd

*EES building hours - 7:40-3:15  (students will  not be able to enter the building until 7:40 a.m.

and will need to be off of school property by 3:15 p.m.)

*Temperatures will be taken before entering the building...if your child has a 100.4 or higher

temperature, you will be called to come pick him/her up.

*Be watching for information about student drop-off and pick-up locations and procedures.

*Be watching for information about the Back-to-School supply drop off.

As always, if you have any questions give us a call at the school.

I am counting down the days until our hallways and classrooms are filled with Bearcubs!!
