USD327 @ 3:27 (Paris Time)

Hope you all had a great weekend and a good Monday!  USD327 is picking up right were we left off on Friday.  Lots of committee meetings and planning for the coming school year.  Monday, we officially welcomed our admin teams and their assistants back into the offices.  They have been working all summer long; but, now it is officially back-to-school-time!

On Monday morning, Mr. Brungardt hosted a zoom meeting for staff interested in attending.  The meeting was mainly a question and answer session for teachers and staff.  We discussed transportation, drop off points at schools, lunch rooms, masks, Plexiglas, expectations, learning platforms, quarantining, and technology.  A timeline to have a plan or process in place for the BOE meeting next Monday was the goal of the admin.

District Staff met with County Health and Central Plains Staff for a county-wide health meeting.  These staffs were joined by personnel from ECMC.  Drafts of protocols that our county schools will use were shared.  Once final drafts are completed, they will be reviewed and shared with patrons.

USD327 then left that meeting for our own district health committee meeting.  The draft protocols were shared and reviewed.  The team continued to visit on specifics concerning healthy environments, masks, quarantining, and confidentiality of students.  The team will meet again next week.

The Classroom and Transition Committees will meet later today.
