Mrs. Kurz-Sebesta’s 1st grade class had the wonderful opportunity to observe the transformation of a Monarch butterfly over the past few weeks. They engaged in discussions and illustrated the butterfly’s life cycle, gaining a deeper understanding of its stages. Additionally, they explored the crucial role Monarchs play within the ecosystem. The caterpillar, generously provided by Ms. Kim Whetzel, made this enriching experience possible. It has truly been a memorable and educational journey for the students.
