Mrs. Sheila Shaffer currently teaches Physics and Biology in the Salina School District.
Mrs. Shaffer is a graduate of Salina Central High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in education and master's degrees in curriculum & instruction and building leadership from Kansas State University.
Mrs. Shaffer’s leadership experiences include serving as an assistant principal for an elementary summer school program, nine years as a science department co-chair, Professional Development Chair, and Individual Plan of Study Chair. Mrs. Shaffer has also been a teacher-leader and sponsor for several other programs.
She has been married 17 years to her husband Jarred Green and together they have four children: Stratton (11), Scarlett (8), Sterling (7), and Scottlyn (4).
