School Nurse
USD 327 has an immediate opening for a School Nurse. This position will cover three attendance centers. This individual must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Kansas, and current CPR and First Aid certification (must remain valid during employment). Applicants must be strong in clinical assessment and decision-making skills, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and FERPA guidelines. Individuals must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide direct nursing care to students and staff in response to injury, sickness and medical needs
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and district policy
- Monitor and care for students with chronic health conditions
- Maintain accurate and confidential student/staff health records
- Support the implementation of individual healthcare plans and emergency care plans
- Respond to medical emergencies, following established protocols
- Perform other health-related duties as assigned

Bus Driver
USD 327 is accepting applications for a full-time bus driver. Applicants must possess the ability to work and communicate in a positive and effective manner with students, patrons and co-workers. Individuals applying should have a good driving record. USD 327 will aid in the Commercial Driver’s Licensure process - providing driving/training opportunities and access to buses to familiarize individual with the student transportation process.
