The District would like to take the opportunity to let you know that as the coronavirus begins the migration into and around the US, be assured that the district is working closely with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), the Ellsworth County Health Department (ECHD), Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC), the Rural Health Clinic (RHC), Ellsworth County Emergency Management, EMS, and other local entities to assure that we are developing an up to date Action Plan tailored to the school district’s need in the event that our county becomes identified as at risk or if our school district becomes affected in a way that it cannot operate at an acceptable capacity. We cannot stress enough now, as always, the importance and vigilance of taking any necessary precautions needed, like basic handwashing and social distancing when an illness affects your family, to avoid becoming ill with any type of viruses or the spread of such virus.
